Standardized testing is a hot topic in Indiana education, and the IRead-3 test for third graders is the latest point of debate. Proponents believe it will bring more accountability to Hoosier educators, while opponents believe the stakes are too high with these tests. WTIU’s show "InFocus" featured a panel discussion on the latest developments, and it featured our VP of Education Policy Derek Redelman, who believes the tests are beneficial for both students and teachers.
