Oktoberfest on Indy’s Monument Circle

The Columbia Club in Indianapolis is proud to announce the 2nd annual Monument Circle Oktoberfest – Presented by the Columbia Club, on Friday, September 21 on Monument Circle. This event is open to the public and there is no admission charge.

The event will take place from 4 – 11 p.m. and feature both German and American Fare. Menu items will include, but not limited to:  sauerkraut balls, bratwurst with sauerkraut, grilled hot dogs, ginormous soft pretzels, kielbasa & cabbage, cheeseburgers, potato pancakes & elephant ears.

In addition to the foods that will be available, there will be a Biergarten featuring local, domestic and imported beers for your enjoyment. The Biergarten will also feature a variety of German wines and a cigar bar will also be available for purchase. 

Indy’s beloved Polkaboy will be performing live from Monument Circle 7 – 11 p.m.  The band will be performing their regular lineup that includes traditional polkas such as the "Pennsylvania and Beer Barrel Polka," "In Heaven There is no Beer" and "Star Spangled Banner." Young and old alike will enjoy their performance. What better way to usher in the fall season than dancing the “Chicken Dance” on Indianapolis’ famed Monument Circle?

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Indiana War Memorials Foundation, the Soldiers & Sailors Monument and the Columbia Club Historic Preservation Foundation.
